The Queen Bee

Time for another challenge over at Through The Craft Room Door Challenge.
As always, the theme is Anything Goes.

Our Generous Sponsor this week is The Paper Shelter.

The prize is 3 digital stamps from her online store.

I got to create with The Queen Bee.

I coloured her with Copic markers.
I used my Jaded Blossom Stitched Rectangle Die set to die cut and added a die cut sentiment from a set I got off a magazine a few years back - I confess I bought the magazine just for this sentiment die! It came with some autumn type leaves that I have never used.
My backing papers are from one of my Uniquely Creative kits - it's actually the one paper which is double sided. I distressed the edges.

I am entering in the following Challenges:

I hope you find time in your week to join us.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Cider House Matchbox Creative Kit

Here's a great new Creative Kit from Ephemoire.

It's the Cider House Matchbox Creative Kit and is in the shop now.
I wanted to create a project that anyone could print the files and then create a quick, easy and elegant gift trio.

I love how this set turned out.

I have a 5 3/4" Square Card with the jar, and checkered embellishments - so just add a mdf greeting. I added some sparkle and used my Clear Wink of Stella brush on top of it.

My Matchbox I added a Lily Die Cut piece on the top and added a piece of hemp twine around the jar lid and then adhered my jar straight onto it with foam dots. And of course, some chocolate to go with my Hello card.

And lastly, but no less of a gift - my jar notecard, I trimmed out a hole in the jar lid on one side and adhered the two sides and base as a cute as gift holder for my Lip Gloss. Added some paper raffia around the jar lid.

I hope I have inspired you to get creating.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Creepy Circus Freak Show

I had a play with the new Creepy Circus Freak Show Elements from Ephemoire.

To be honest I wasn't too sure what I would create, so when about printing both sheets, cutting out and sponging all the edges.
I then decided to print off the Quirky P'Arts #1 file I bought in the sale.
After cutting and sponging the edges of the quirky folk, I then just went about placing the different elements and shuffling until I was happy with a combination I liked, then started again.

So I ended up with 1 Slimline card, 1 5 3/4" Square card and a double sided ticket holder along with plenty of embellishments left over to create more cards, put in junk journal, planner, etc.

I think they all turned out great.

I added some tulle behind my tent curtain, gold pearls, rhinestones and used my Dark Hearts stencil by Visible Image. My Ticket Book die is from Jaded Blossom. A few elements have been propped up on foam dots and I sponged the edges with Distress Ink.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

I popped him up on foam dots and used some of the Uniquely Creative Cut-A- Part's in my stash for my sentiment.

I am entering him in the following Challenges:

My second card I am using the image Fairy Magic.

Coloured with Distress Inks and die cut with a Stitched Circle die from Jaded Blossom..
I layered my background paper with black card stock and black card base.
I distressed both pieces of the same patterned paper and added some pearlised dots for some sparkle.
I didn't use a sentiment as part of the image has the wording Fairy Magic and I thought that was enough.

I am entering the following Challenges:

Punky Kidz Sitter

Time for some fun creating.

I coloured up Punky Kidz sitter by Bugaboo Stamps.
I've had this image for a long time and never gotten around to colouring her, so decided today was her day!

I coloured her with copic markers and fussy cut.
Before I made my card up, I actually looked at sketches to decide how I would design my card...I know right, so not me!
LOL, anyway, it still isn't me as I couldn't find one I liked!
But, I did find a Bingo Challenge over on Bugaboo's Blog page, so went with that!
My sentiment is from one of Uniquely Crreative's Cut-a-part sheets in my stash, and the Washi Tape is from a mixed sample lot I bought many moons ago. Speaking of, my embossing folder is a long long long ago retired one from Stampin Up.
I did enjoy compiling this card and love how she turned out.

My line is the middle line (across) - Sentiment, Bugaboo Image, Washi Tape.

Challenges I am entering in are:
Dragonfly's Dream

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Halloween Sticky Note Box

Here's the perfect little gift box for Halloween - especially for the cat lovers!
This was created using the file Halloween Sticky Note Box from Ephemoire.

Oh My, how cute is that Halloween Cat print!
I printed off the file, fussy cut and assembled.
Now for my Gift Box, I used one of my label dies to created my label on the box and tied with some bakers twine.
My sentiment is from Tim Holtz Things/Talk clear stamp set.
I added some tiny bat die cuts and a small spider on some foam dots.

I had to make up a Tag as well, or course right!
I used my Jaded Blossom Ticket Book Die and then was just a matter of stamping my sentiment on the stub, a few tiny bat die cuts and some bakers twine.

I have to say I love how these two go together and that black cute is just so cute!

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

I decided to have a go at the Slimline Card (8 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches).
Cute but not the easiest to photograph I have to say, but that could just be me I guess.
Sticking to my Distress Inks for colouring.
My background is strips of washi tape for something different.

ICAD No.83

So I finally found some time to do another Index card!

I used Ephemoire's Sour Sally image that was a freebie on the Facebook Page .... see, pays to be a follower!

Here's the link to the Etsy shop if you want to get some great Halloween images, or make a head start on Christmas.

Image may contain: 1 person, text that says "I'd agree with you, @8806angela but then we'd both be wrong."

Now I don't want to get in trouble, but I think I know this lady!!!!!
LOL, she does look familiar, or at least that expression does!

Hope you like it, just a bit of fun.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Creepy Hair clip and planner accessories

Here is something a bit different - planner accessories and hair clip using a file by Ephemoire.

The file I used is The Creepy Closet.

I printed off a few pages from The Creepy Closet files, decided which ones I wanted to use and fussy cut them.
I then popped them through my laminator and fuss cut again. Added a small hole in top and attached clip to each one.
The it was just a matter of adding to jumbo paper clip, band and onto a hair clip.....easy to switch them out as wanted.
I must say, I really like that hair clip!

I hope you like it and I have inspired you to create some tags.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Mixed Media Mini Pocket Envelope

Here is a  Mixed Media Mini Pocket Envelope I made using files by Ephemoire.

The files I used are Goth Boss, and Word Stripz #3.

Using a mini pocket envelope from my stash, I firstly sponged the edges of the envelope using Scattered Straw Distress Ink and added some script stamping (Kaisercraft) with the same ink as I wanted it to be light.
I had previously printed off the Month at a Glance planner page so had already fussy cut the legs image. I printed off the Daily Planner page and fussy cut my skull with wings and added some Glossy Accents to the eye sockets to have them stand out a bit more.
I printed off the Word Strpiz 3 page (1st one) and trimmed all the words and sponged the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
Once the glossy accents was dry, I adhered half a gold doily onto my pocket.
I then added some black meshing from my stash and arranged the two images on top. The skull I adhered with foam dots to lift it up a bit. I then adhered my Ancestors wording.
I also adhered a cog and watch rim in the bottom right corner with a brad in the middle.
Lastly I added the trimmed words in the pocket - perfect place to keep them until I use them.

Definitely fun to make and worth giving it a go yourself.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

The Creepy Closet

Here is the second Mixed Media Tag I made using files by Ephemoire.

The files I used are The Creepy Closet and Word Stripz #3.

Using a black tag from my stash, I firstly used an old white stamp pad I had with the Inky Alpha Stencil by Uniquely Creative to give some marks on my tag
I then used a textured woven die (Kaisercraft) to die cut a stencil to use with my light modeling paste (Liquitex) for some added texture.
While that was drying, I printed off page 1 from The Creepy Closet files and fussy cut the middle image. I added some Glossy Accents to the eye sockets to have them stand out a bit more.
I also printed off the Black sheet of words from the Word Stripz 3 files and decided to use Awaken and Ancestors on my tag so I cut them and sponged around the edges with my white ink pad.
I looked through my ribbons and decided on three, but to make the two white ones fit in, I sponged Vintage Photo Distress Ink along them.
Once all dry, I used half of a gold doily and scrunched it up behind my image and adhered onto the bottom corner of my tag.
I adhered the words on some foam tag so they stood up off the tag.
Lastly I added my ribbons.

I hope you like it and I have inspired you to create some tags.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Happy Hallo-wine

Here is a Halloween card I made using a file by Ephemoire.

The file I used is The Creepy Closet.

I started by cutting a piece of patterned paper to fit my black square card base and distressed the edges. I then sponged the edges with Black Soot Distress Ink.
I used a Halloween die from my stash and die cut some bats, and the 2 parts of a haunted house. Once I adhered the top black die to the bottom yellow die cut, I sponged with Black Soot Distress Ink to give a darker effect.
I then printed off page 5 of the file The Creepy Closet and fussy cut the Top Hatted gentlemen and adhered to the bottom right of my page.
I them lined up my sentiment from Jaded Blossom stamp set called Wicked Strong Coffee and stamped it off.
I then adhered my page onto my base and added the bats and the haunted house on foam dots to lift off the page.
Not your traditional Halloween card, but I love how it turned out.

I hope you like it and I have inspired you to create some tags.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Goth Boss Mixed Media Tag

Here is the first Mixed Media Tag I made using files by Ephemoire.

The file I used is called Goth Boss planner sheet.

Using a watercolor paper tag from my stash, I firstly used Distress Oxide inks (Walnut Stain, Vintage Photo & Fossilized Amber) to create my background.
I sponged the edges of the tag using Scattered Straw Distress Ink and added some script stamping (Kaisercraft) with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
I then used a textured woven die (Kaisercraft) to die cut a stencil to use with my  light modeling paste (Liquitex) for added texture.
While that was all drying, I printed off the Month at a Glance planner page and fussy cut both images (one I used on another project) and the glam lady on this tag with the sentiment.
I added some Glossy Accents to the eye sockets to have them stand out a bit more.
Once all dry, I adhered the image and words.
Lastly I added a key and ribbon from my stash.

I am entering her in the following Challenges:
