Conjurer of Dreams Inspiration # 3

My inspiration projects for Conjurer of Dreams this month is using Festive Steampunk Polar Bear on the first one, and Winter Christmas Hamster with Winter Pines AI Art background on second one.

This first one, I used some dies that were given to me as gifts, in white cardstock, as well as black cardstock to put behind my image. I then used my Pheonix Watercolour pallet to blend the image into the page as well as some flicks for interest. My sentiment is from an old Kindred Stamps stamp set.

I used a die from Bee Arty in White Cardstock and placed behind my image. My sentiment is from an old Kindred Stamps stamp set and I added some splats from my white paint pen. Lastly I added some clear domes to enhance it a bit.

Check out these and all the others available to purchase at our Conjurer of Dreams Etsy Store.

Just Because

Sharing my Journal layout and tag for Scrapbookingncraft with you.

I used my Altered Diary again as my preferred journal for my project.
My favourite part is the woman that I blended in perfectly to the page - traced the mask onto cardstock then adhered napkin and cut out then carefully lined up to page and adhered. I then gave her a shadow using Black Aquarellable Pencil.

I hope you it and are inspire to create with some of Scrapbookingncraft products Don't forget to share with us when you do. Feel free to tag me.

I could be wrong....

My Junk Journal Planner for 2024 is coming along very nicely.
Here is my 2nd page for April that I created for this months Challenge over at Paper Craft Secrets Facebook Group. This month the Challenge is "Flowers".

I used up a heap of leftover ephemera lying around and on my desk!
To start with, my page already had the 2 blue modelling pastes through my girl stencil by Scrap FX as well as scraped around it in the second shade. This paste was leftover the other month during a project, so I opened my journal, as you do, and added it so I had a start when I came to this page. There was too much to just waste.
So because I had the start of it being blue as well, I looked around my desk and close by and got some Mintay Mediterranean Heaven Die Cuts left over from a Paper Craft Party day last year as well as odds and ends to complete my page.
Lol, I have no idea what I was thinking when I scraped that modelling paste around her....anyway, I do love how my page turned out.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Blessed with You

Can you believe we are in the second month of the new year! I mean really, where has it gone!

Today I am sharing my project for Scrapbookingncraft.

I used one of my favourite stencils (okay, my favourite) Repeating Circles by using my Spray through the stencil onto tissue paper. Once dry I adhered to a cardstock matt. I was given a stamp set that had a great saying, perfect for my husband. "I am Blessed with you at my side", so stamped that in black ink directly onto my tissue.
Using one of my dies, I cut a frame from black cardstock and adhered over my tissue to give a lovely frame without taking the focus off my stencil work.
I used one of Mel's chipboard pieces Man with Cogs (small) and left it as is, adhering to the side.
Lasty, I adhered this onto my cream card base.

Now I have the perfect card to give hubby for Valentine's Day! Who said it had to be red and flowery!

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Creative Warriors Inspiration # 35

Merry Christmas!

If you are like me and unfortunately have to work tomorrow, then you will be having Christmas Dinner with your family like me!

So as not to keep you, a short posting for my last project to inspire you in 2023.

I created a Cover for my Junk Journal Planner for 2024 using a Woolies Christmas Paper Bag!
LOL, this way the spine and back as well as inside covers don't really need decorating as the baubles design is all over it!
I used a Mash Up of two old Releases, one of the girls from Accept by Gracie Grant along with a Books Pattern from Book Lover by Elisa Ablett.
I added some texture with coloured paste through a stencil designed by Michelle Grant for Bee Arty, the Range is called Full Circle.
Also added some stamping from stamp set and a die cut from die in the range.
I also used one of my favourite dies and cut that as well as some glitter stars and gold thickener Numbers Stickers.
The sentiment is from Gracie's set and I added a piece of ruffled black lace to it.

Well, I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a safe passage into 2024!

Creative Warriors Inspiration # 34

Time for my next project to inspire you, which is using the New Release December/January Challenge Image Reflective Prelude by Michelle Grant.

I used  the black and white image on plain copy paper and adhered to my journal pages.
I added some stencilling using one of Michelle's new stencils from Bee Arty and also one of her new dies from the same collection.
My girls are coloured with mica powders from Bee Arty and Lindy's Magicals, which I also used to colour my die cuts.
I used some white gesso to soften my edges around the girls and try to blend them in a bit better.
I used a black paint pen and a stencil from Natalie May for my words and then lastly I doodled a border around the edges.

Well, I hope I have inspired you to look at your packs a little but differently.

Creative Warriors Inspiration # 33

I created a double journal page layout using this month's Challenge image On the Inside by Michelle Grant for my second November Inspiration Post.

I used one of Michelle's coloured images and fussy cut some extra flowers to add around her neck and head.
I used a couple of stencils from Bee Arty and a Studio Light one as well with some acrylic paints that blended in with the image.
I found my quote on google and hand wrote it using a black ink pen.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Creative Warriors Inspiration # 32

My first project for November to inspire you as a blue layout using Michelle's Seeker Art Image pack.

I coloured my girls with distress inks, fussy cut and adhered to my background.
I used some stencils and foam stamps from Scrapbookingncraft to create my background with 3 shades of blue acrylic paints.
I doodled a border with black ink pen and wrote the quote as well.

I really love how the pages turned out.

Creative Warriors Inspiration # 31

I decided to have a break from blogging as I just needed to reset as they say.
So I will catch you up on my Creative Warriors projects I did for last month and this month.

For for second project in October I did a mash up using the October Challenge image pack Shadows & Shimmers along with July's Truth and some sayings from one of the Little Word Packs.

I used some black fluid acrylic paint and scribbled some very loose words on the layout, which was fun to try. My girls I coloured with pencils and then fussy cut and adhered to page.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Creative Warriors Inspiration # 30

Time for my next project to inspire you, which is using the New October Challenge Pack Shadows & Shimmers by Michelle Grant. Remember you can buy it for only$1.50 this month - super value!

I decided to use my Steampunk Soiree Lindy's Magicals - first time using these mica powders - yes, my fingers are now a lovely "bruised" look. LOL, will be interesting at work tomorrow in my Nursing Home.
Anyways, I had a play with the magicals and then using my Steampunk stencil by Antonis Tzanidakis for Stamperia with some black acrylic paint to create an interesting border. I dabbed black acrylic paint around the edge of my page to give a darker frame around my focal image.
I printed and fussy cut the coloured steampunk girl from the pack and adhered to my page.
I then added a frame and my sentiment. I used my black pen and loosely went around the words for some more interest.
I then coloured up one of the black and white pumpkins from the pack and added it for that Halloween feel.

Well, I hope I have inspired you to create with this month's Challenge pack and enter into our challenge for a chance of a prize.

Creative Warriors Inspiration # 29

Time for my next project to inspire you, which is a Mash Up of Michelle Grants Chill and Pattern #1 packs.

I started with printing some background paper from Pattern #1 onto tissue paper and ripping and adhering to both pages.
I used a Bee Arty stencil as well as 2 Art by Marlene stencils in my stash along with new paints I got for other projects.
I coloured my girl with my Faber-Castell pencils and fussy cut her and my sentiment.
Not going to lie, I totally stuffed the left page and when you stuff up black, it's hard to correct!
LOL, anyway, it's still okay, just a nice grungy feel to it now.

Well, I hope I have inspired you to look at your packs a little but differently.

Don't forget to share with us any of your projects over on the Michelle's Creative Warriors Facebook group, we'd love to see them.

Creative Warriors Inspiration # 28

Have you seen this month's Challenge Image pack - Flourish
Wow, some many colourful flowers and such a gorgeous girl by Michelle Grant.

Yes, I did fussy cut out all those flowers on the left side to frame my saying.
I added some waterpaint colours, drips and splashes.
My 2 music sheet die cuts are using the Grungy Viewmaster die by Bee Arty.

Well, I hope I have inspired you and can't wait to see what you create with her.

Creative Warriors Inspiration # 27

Time for my next project to inspire you, which is using the New Challenge Image Pack Be The Rainbow  by Michelle Grant.

During the month I added some paints and inks through stencils and mopping up onto the next page in my journal. I figured this way I have a base to start my page with.
Having said that, all I really had to do them was to fussy cut my girl and adhere her down and then give her a bit of colour, which I did using my Distress Inks.
I then added my saying from the pack with a bit of doodling with a black pen.

Creative Warriors Inspiration # 20

Time for my next project to inspire you, which is using the New Release May Image Challenge Knowing,  by Michelle Grant.

I used a rainbow Gel Print that I created last weekend.
I added some of the texture image strips along my sides.
I die cut my girl in an oval shape and after adhering onto my background, I then grabbed out some water inks and added some splashes and drips,
Once dry, I then used my gold paint pen and went along some of Michelle's lines and added some of my own to extend them.
I added a quote form Karen Yates Lite Word Bits #2
Lastly I doodled a border around the edges.

Well, I hope I have inspired you to look at your packs a little but differently.

Creative Warriors Inspiration # 19

Time for my next project to inspire you, which is using the New Release Pack for this month's Challenge Charmed by Michelle Grant.

I created this background during the Easter Challenges that were happening on Facebook so thought I would use it.

So I adhered it to my journal page and then set about colouring in my girl and some of the flowers. I grabbed my Inktense Pencils and had a play around. I must say that I coloured my flowers 3 times and love how the colour was more vibrant each time.

I then decided where to put her and the flowers and adhered.
I used a saying from Karen Yates Little Word Bits #3. These Little Word Bit files are a must have and so many different sayings to use with different fonts.

Lastly, I doodled a frame around the outside to make it less plain and I called it done.

Creative Warriors Inspiration # 17

Time for my next project to inspire you, which is a Mash Up of  Expand and Rainbow Lyrical Wallpapers, No1 Pattern Pack and Paper Dolls Starter #1 pack.

I started with some stenciling using black acrylic paint on the left page. On the right page I wiped off the stencil to give the faded look.
I then adhered some patterns printed on tissue paper and a bit a white gesso in places to fade out spots and blend a bit. I adhered my girl from Michelle Grants Expand pack.

On the right side, I added my tissue paper print from Rainbow Lyrical by Karen Yates and then used Distress Crayons to add some additional colour and blend. I added some black acrylic paint to my page edges and blended that out too.
While I had the crayons out, I added a touch of yellow to my left page as a focal point.

I then added black acrylic paint and crayons to colour my paper doll and adhered her to my page.
I then added my "It will work out" saying on tissue paper.

Many many layers of tissue paper on this one.

Creative Warriors Inspiration # 16

Time for my next project to inspire you, which is using this month's Challenge Image pack Courage  by Michelle.

I have had a lot of indecision in my life this last 6 months and still it goes on......it can't go on forever.

When I saw this month's images, I thought the girl looked lost and sad. I also was undecided on how to approach using her. So, this lead me to thinking that things are not always black and right, sometimes you make the right decision and sometime you don't.

Anyway, I settled on a black and white theme, then did my Indecision words in colours to add a pop of colour to my page.

I hope you all have fun with this month's challenge and I look forward to seeing what you do later in the month as I am off on my well earned holiday cruising around New Zealand!

Don't forget to share with us any of your projects over on the Michelle's Creative Warriors Facebook group, we'd love to see them.

Creative Warriors 2022 Calendar - April

If you have Michelle's Creative Warriors 2022 Calendar, you can repurpose the months and enter the Challenge over on the Facebook page.

I adore this image from Michelle Grant, which is the April spread.

I used a few of my washi tapes from Your Creative Studio, along with some book pages to create my background.
To fill in the gaps, I used my distress paints in coordinating colour that Michelle used.
Added some stamping and splots.
Lastly I used a saying from Michelle Grant Design by Karen Yates - Little Word Bits #2.

I hope you like it, although I don't blog too much these days, I still create, and admit I am more likely to pop it on my Instagram account as it is much quicker.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!
