Christmas at Pemberley

Here's some fun Snarky Christmas Tags for gift giving or popping in your journal using the Christmas at Pemberley file from Ephemoire.

I love how these girls turned out!

I quote my quotes from Pinterest, as I do, and after fussy cutting the girls out, I added some Distress inks and oxides to my watercolor paper tags.
I used a Uniquely Creative stencil and added a bit of washi tape as well.
I then adhered some lace and then my girls with foam dots.
Some ribbons at the top and all done..LOVE!

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Angel of Mercy

Time for another challenge over at Through The Craft Room Door Challenge.
As always, the theme is Anything Goes.

Our Generous Sponsor this week is Jan's Digital Stamps

The prize is a $10 voucher for her online store.

I got to create with Angel of Mercy.

I coloured her with Distress Inks.
I wanted to keep her the focus of the card so I used a Stitched Circle die from Jaded Blossom. Firstly though, I worked out where I wanted it and then trimmed the wing tip so I could put it on the other side of die so as not to cut through the wing.
I then placed her on a doily to soften it up a bit.
My sentiment is from Speedy Recovery stamp set by Jaded Blossom.

I hope you find time in your week to join us.

Watercolor Poinsettia Card Creative Kit

Watercolor Poinsettia files are a lot of fun to get creating and get your cards all done with less stress!

Here's the cards and gift bag I made with the Watercolor Poinsettia Creative Card kit.

So quick and easy for the time poor.

I distressed and sponged the edges of the card fronts.
I adhered the sentiments on foam tape to give some dimension.

I had the large label, 2 stars and a sentiment left over so decided to decorated a plain gold gift bag.

I must say I like those distressed cards very much!

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Watercolor Poinsetta Notecard Creative Kit

Another set in the Watercolor Poinsetta range by Ephemoire is the Notecard Creative Kit.

How delightful are they!
No matter where you craft in the world, the Poinsetta is another worldwide symbol of Christmas times.

I had a lot fun fun creating my card gift topper, embellishments and notecard set.

I used gold glitter card stock, dies, foam dots, ribbon and twine.
Very easy and you can use whatever craft supplies you have on hand.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Cottage Christmas Sticky Note Box

Here's the perfect box for a sticky note block or a few chocolates, bracelet,  you get the idea!
This was created using the file Cottage Christmas Sticky Note Box from Ephemoire.

I printed off the file, fussy cut and assembled.
Now it's so easy to personalise your box by adding a few embellishments, like lace, ribbon, flowers.
I trimmed the second oval to sit over the first on some foam dots.
Coloured a mdf ornament with copic markers and added some Clear Wink of Stella brush to give it some Christmas Sparkle!
My stamped Emu image and wording are from Uniquely Creative's Aussie Christmas stamp set (love this set!). Coloured emu with copic markers.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Watercolor Poinsetta Embellishments

Here's some fun Christmas goodies I made using Watercolor Poinsetta Embellishments by Ephemoire.

I created a small notecard, Card Topper, Treat Box and Planner clips.
I added Gold Glitter card stock behind the rectangle image and then onto my notecard base.
My Card Topper is a piece of Gold Glitter Card stock, layered with my tag and then the large circle image on top to give some 3D dimension - both layers are on foam dots to lift up.
I used my candy wrapper die and added a black card stock strip and then my label. (Another sweet treat for the dinner table)
For my planner clips, I stuck my small circles onto circle MDF's and then used Glossy Accents. Added my clip and then attached one to a band and the other I added a charm for a journal spine clip. (you could easily make these into ear-rings/necklace if inclined).

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Luna Whispering

I coloured up Luna Whispering by Ching-Chou Kuik in Halloween colours for her Facebook Challenge this month - Happy 6th Anniversary.!

Coloured with copic markers and some white gel pen.

I decided not to make a card, but to pop her in my Art Junk Journal as I thought her too nice to give away!

I added some washi tape and a sentiment from one of uniquely Creatives Cut A-parts.

I am also entering the following Challenges:

Spiced Mocha Mix Printable Kit

So here is something new for me - Spiced Mocha Mix - I have never heard of it or tasted it before this fabulous Spiced Mocha Mix Printable Kit came out from Ephemoire!

Of course I had to make some and do the kit up.
Have to say, if you are one of those who do the Recipe swaps at Christmas time, this is the printable for you!

So after I made up my mix and popped it in the jar, I printed the label page on sticker paper and the recipe and tags page on Kraft card stock as I wanted a vintage feel.
I used paper 4 from Ginger Whimsy Paper lot 2 for under my label on the lid.

My recipe page is using paper 3 from Ginger Whimsy Paper lot 2, and the cookie and gingerbread man are from Ginger Whimsy Fussy Cut Elements and my ticket from Ginger Whimsy Ephemera Tickets.

Addition of some twine, ribbon and mini spoon.

So much fun

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

King Oliver

I coloured up King Oliver by LeAnn's World 101 using copic markers and then decided for my Progressive Challenge this month, I would pop him in my neglected Junk Journal.

I added some Washi tape for grounding, and then I looked at some sentiments on my desk left over from a Ephemoire project, so thought, what the heck!
I do love how it has all turned out, and let's face it, blink and you will miss Christmas as it is just about on us now!

Oh, Fudge

Oh, Fudge Coaster Kit ..... this is one of the Coaster files over at Ephemoire.

Well, you know you can make a coaster with it, and then some cards too right!

OK, that's I what I did anyway!
I absolutely love that instead of snow flakes, it's nuts - perfect for the males in our lives - am I right?

I repurposed a coaster from a cheap set I bought - I got a set of 6 for only $0.50 - they are the ugliest coasters I have seen, but then I knew I was putting this on top so was happy!
I did trim away part of my print so it fit just right. Once the glue was all dry I applied a coat of Modge Podge on top to seal it.

My card is a 5 3/4" Square base. I cut the beanie off one of the other prints (it prints 4 on a page) and adhered onto this one with foam dots to give some dimension. I then cut a matt from shinny silver card stock and adhered it all on my base.

So now I have an off cut and decided the best way to use this was to laminate it and make a shaker card!
So again I cut a piece of shinny silver card stock, added foam tape strips to my offcut and then carefully put in some sequins in the beanie portion and gently adhered my shinny matt.
Before I adhered this to my card base, I stamped my sentiment from Jaded Blossom's Happy Name Day stamp set with Versamark ink and heat embossed with a retired Real Red Glitter powder from Stampin Up.

Love this trio and definitely going to be using this file again!
I would love to see what you can come up with for it.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Vintage Christmas Shoe Card Kit

Today I'm sharing my project working with Vintage Christmas Shoe Card Kit by Ephemoire.

So cool to be shoe shaped! Plus, you don't have to use them for Christmas only!

I did not fussy cut these this time - it would not be this neat if I did! I used my Brother Scan N Cut.
I find the smaller pieces are quicker to do by hand, but these bigger ones I use the machine - not sure about you but I have a love hate relationship with mine!

It just happened to be that my mother was about to turn 80 and her favourite colour is Green, so this is the card and gift tag I gave to her on her special day.

It is hard to tell, but I used my Gold Wink of Stella brush the veins of the leaves, glassy accent on the red berries and added some enamel dots on the shoes.
I used my numbers dies to cut the green glitter 80, and one of my small tag dies for the tag it sits on, popped up with foam dots.
A couple of sentiments from stamps sets in my stash.

Beautiful, and yes, my mum loved them!

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Namaste Santa Tags

Did you see the new Namaste Santa Tags over at Ephemoire?
Well if you haven't, let me show you how you use these tags for your gifts this year.

So get your tag dies, some card stock, patterned paper and anything else you in your stash and get creating.
I really think that less is best with this calming Yoga Santa.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Vintage Christmas Shoe Ornaments

I have a different project from Ephemoire to share with you today using Vintage Christmas Shoe Ornaments.

My favourite is the Secret Santa Tag!
I added the turtle from Quirky P'Arts #1 file, the stamp from Summer's End Coffee Cup Card set and the two sentiments from Santa's Workshop Dex Card set.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Creations in Pink Challenge # 27

Time for another Challenge over at Creations in Pink....remember it's anything goes, but has to be mainly Pink.

This month our Sponsor is Polkadoodles.

I got to create with an image called Little Friends.

I coloured her with Distress Inks.
Fussy cut and added a white oval matt to a pink patterned paper scalloped oval using my dies from Jaded Blossom.
My sentiment is a word die from Uniquely Creative.

Such a sweet image for a young lady!

Christmas Carolers Creative Kit

Here's another fun Christmas project using Christmas Carolers Creative Kit from Ephemoire.

I added some sparkle to my tree using some craft gems and candy dots on the boys buttons.
My folder has some ribbon to close it and I used a Stampin Up die I have to add some interest to the pockets inside my folder.

Such a great gift to give as when they use the cards, they can pop some tags or wish lists in there.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Snarky Holiday Gnome Tags

I have to say, these Snarky Holiday Gnome Tags from Ephemoire were a heap of fun to create with!

I made some standard cards, mini cards and a treat box.

I added some of the elements from some of the Santa's Workshop files but you don't need to do that at all.
I also added some glitter die cuts and rhinestones.
Aren't they just fun!

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Off with their heads ....

Time for another challenge over at Through The Craft Room Door Challenge.
As always, the theme is Anything Goes.

Our Generous Sponsor this week is Oddball Arts.

The prize is a $10 voucher from her store.

I got to create with this Off with their Heads image.

I used a glossy photo paper and alcohol inks for my background. Almost looks like she is brewing up a spell!
I coloured her with Distress Inks.
The sentiment comes as part of the image. I used an old Oval Stampin Up punch to punch it out.

I hope you find time in your week to join us.
