Never More Designs Gothic Challenge

Have you checked out this month's Challenge Image over at Never More Designs Gothic Image Challenge?

If you have been following me, you will know I am doing the ICAD Challenge, and I have manged to follow the prompt all but the one day so far, and today's being bitmap meant I had my favourite Tim Holtz circle stencil out. When I had finished my card, I thought about my next project to do and looked at Never More Designs image and thought the dots would look great as a background for it......so out come the Junk Journal.

I used my big jar of Turquoise Acrylic Paint with the sponge I had used the black paint with. I would not normally do this, but, I wanted a darker patch as well and the start with the black was all I needed to get the look I wanted.

More fussy cutting and then a quote and all done.
The quote is from one of my Art by Marlene Sticky Quotes books.

I think I have told you all before that I love working in my junk journal.....I have plenty of bought ones but still love this one. My first one I made, lol, and was afraid to use! Now I am filling it up fast!

Hope to see what you do with the image.

Never More Designs Gothic Challenge

Have you checked out this month's Challenge Image over at Never More Designs Gothic Image Challenge?

I ran out of time to do last month's and just getting this month's in with a few days to spare....so there is still time for you too!

So totally off the page this month.....I have been doing a Virtual Retreat this weekend, among other projects, so decided to use what was sitting on my desk.....

I made a tag from a funtime Distress Crayons practice page from a class I did this morning.
I thought this would look great on the brown paper bag that was to my left.
Added a flair button that was in one of the kits I have gotten over the years and was in a jar on my desk as well.
It is hard to tell but I printed the image twice and fussy cut the two ravens out and popped them up on foam dots.

Ok, so it has actually turned out great and I will be able to use it to hold some ephemera in and give away in a swap down the track......win win.

Hope to see what you do with the image.

I am also entering the following Challenges:

Never More Designs Gothic Challenge

Have you checked out this month's Challenge Image over at Never More Designs Gothic Image Challenge?

I have played in my junk journal this month.
I am in the middle of making some ATC's for a swap and had 3 lots of left over paint, so laid that down in my junk journal and decided it would suit this month's image.

So I stuck my image down, then used a strip of washi tape and ripped it in half, one bit for top and bottom of image.
I grabbed my Dream in Color stamp set by Jaded Blossom and stamped my saying directly onto the washi tape.
It says: " You paint my heart happy".
Such a joyous image.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Never More Designs Gothic Challenge

Have you checked out this month's Challenge Image over at Never More Designs Gothic Image Challenge?

It's a pretty cute image really.

I decided to make a card this month - I did have a tag in mind when I started, but I think it is a card sort of image.....

Anyways, I printed the image and die cut with my Jaded Blossom dies. I also die cut a black card stock matt for it.

My little saying is a sticker from Art By Marlene's Artsy Arabis Sticky Notes.

A few crystal gems and I really like how it turned out.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Never More Designs Gothic Challenge

I had some fun with this month's Challenge Image over at Never More Designs Gothic Image Challenge .

To be honest, I wasn't too sure what I was going to do with this great image this month.

Then I thought why not a wand ......

Once it was made, I needed something to hold it......look what happened!

Winter is Coming!!!!!!!!!
LOL, you know nothing Jon Snow. It's Summer in Australia!

Ok, so it is super simple to create, a straw, some feathers and some card stock that you score and fold and glue....that's it, not too hard.
Of course you may or may not have yourself a Game Of Thrones collection or two, three, so that is optional.

OMG I seriously had too much fun at the end of this project I have to tell you. You can bet now I will be looking to see what else I can use my collection for when I am creating.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Never More Designs Gothic Challenge

This month's Challenge Image over at Never More Designs Gothic Image Challenge is such a unique one!

I wasn't too sure what to create with it, but after pondering for a while I made a decision.

I made a goodie bag for a bag of coal!
LOL, just perfect for that image.
I used my Jaded Blossom Goodie Bag die to create my bag.
Used my Vintage Photo distress ink around the image to give it an aged look and adhered onto my bag.

Such a fun goodie bag!

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Never More Designs Gothic Challenge

This month's Challenge Image over at Never More Designs Gothic Image Challenge is such a cutie!

I did another page in my Coffee Stained journal, it's looking pretty good with all theses Challenge images in it.
I sponged the edges of the printed image with Black Soot distress ink.
Once I had adhered her down, I grabbed some foil Halloween stickers I have in my stash.
I used the sentiment one for Halloween as well as one of the bats.

I am also entering her in the following Challenges:

Never More Designs Gothic Challenge

This month's Challenge Image over at Never More Designs Gothic Image Challenge is a  little bit different this month.....it's a fun skeleton image.

Such a fun image to play with.
I did another page in my Coffee Stained journal.
This time I looked up a quote to use and then grabbed some images and made a little collage and typed the quote in.
I love that the skeleton and the skull at looking at each other!

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Never More Designs Gothic Challenge

This month's Challenge Image over at Never More Designs Gothic Image Challenge is a  little bit different this month.....

So much you could do with this girl.
I decided to make a cover for my black work diary - very appropriate I would think!

I used some cardstock and dies in my stash to create my tag and background.
I then fussy cut my girl and glued on top after adding a little bit of black lace to the loop.
Lastly, I created a little dangle clip that can be removed and put on next years diary or another journal, etc.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Never More Designs Gothic Challenge

Another month and new Challenge over at Never More Designs Gothic Image Challenge a little bit different this month,

Another page in my coffee stained journal.
A quote I found on Google that I though fit the image we have to work with.

Never More Designs Gothic Challenge

I love this month's Never More Designs Gothic Image Challenge, she reminders me of Wednesday!

I decided to continue in the coffee stained signature booklet I started last month with the cover.
I thought if I put the image on the right hand page, I have the left side to journal on. LOL, works for me! I know it's pretty plain looking, but it's practical and it's right for me and my style.

My words are from Ephemoire, Word Strip #3 file in my stash.

So next month, I turn the page and create another layout.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Never More Designs Gothic Challenge

Never More Designs Gothic Image Challenge is quite interesting this month.

I wasn't too sure what I would create, but ended up using the image on another of my Coffee Stained signatures I made.

I love the papers in this signature.
I used an old baking tray to stain the papers and left in the tray to dry for a few days.
I was surprised with the goldish marks that come out - very steampunk, gothic look to it with the black marks a long with the rusty ones.
My sentiments are from Dina Wakley Media Collage Words.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Never More Designs Gothic Challenge

I meant to join in last month's Gothic Challenge over at Never More Designs Blog but ran out of time.

So with time running out again, I got myself organised a bit more and just finished this tag for the February Monthly Gothic Challenge.

I started out with the intention making a Bookmark, but got a bit adventurous and added some lace, ribbon and bling, and now she's a beautiful bookmark/tag to pop in my journal.

The tag is a piece of patterned paper from the Birthday Surprise Mystery box I got from La-La Land Crafts.
I love the black and gold through out it - the gold glitter in it doesn't show up too well in the photo.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!
