Creative Warriors Inspiration # 7

Time for my next project to inspire you, which is using the New Release Packs Country Garden #2 Add Ons and Secret Garden Wallpaper, both by Elisa Ablett.

I used the Mason Jar, Jar Label and saying from the Add Ons pack and one background for my jar and another as collage in my background. I also added some old music sheet paper as well.
I then decided to use my Art by Marlene acrylic paints in colours that matched the wallpapers.
Some script writing stamping to finish the page off before using black acrylic paint through my Lorri Lennox stencil. Lastly, highlighted with my Life of Colour White Paint pen.

Loving my art journal now!

Well, I hope I have inspired you to look at your packs a little but differently.

Don't forget to share with us any of your projects over on the Michelle's Creative Warriors Facebook group, we'd love to see them.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Art Journal Junkie October 2022 - Day 21

Day 21 of 31 days of Art Journaling with Art Journal Junkie Facebook Group!

So we have 3 colours: Navy, Rust and Teal
An Affirmation Quote: Don't look at yourself through their eyes.
An element:  Eyes

A very nice yet simple page this time.
I popped some post it notes across my page to leave a clear path.
Added some paints and then used a Paper Roses stencil and a Stamperia stencil.
My Black Life of Colour paint pen to write my affirmation.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Art Journal Junkie October 2022 - Day 20

Day 20 of 31 days of Art Journaling with Art Journal Junkie Facebook Group!

So we have 3 colours: Pink, Green and Old Gold
An Affirmation Quote: I give myself permission to experiment with my creativity.
An element:  Spots / Dots

This one took me two days to finish, so I'm a little bit more behind....that's ok, because I am pushing my boundaries and still going.
I can't believe I managed to add some eyelashes! Small steps. One day I will even be able to get the eyes the same size....lol.

I used acrylic paints for my background and pencils for eyes and lips.
Black Life of Colour paint pen for writing and going over my gal.
My circle stamps are from Art by Marlene.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Art Journal Junkie October 2022 - Day 15

Day 15 of 31 days of Art Journaling with Art Journal Junkie Facebook Group!

So we have 3 colours: Rust, Aqua and Blue
An Affirmation Quote: Think outside the Box & Colour outside the Lines
An element: Squares

I have used my own drawing for today (LOL, Yesterday's) page. I think I drew and coloured her sometime last year...
Anyways, I started with an A4 coffee stained paper that I did and you can see the Rust speckles that come out on it.
My stencils are 2 by Dusty Attic, 1 by Bee Arty and 4th unknown.
My saying is from one of my Sticker Sheets books by Art by Marlene. I used a Black paint pen from Life Of Colour to outline the saying.
The doodling around the edges and over some of the stenciling is black hiflow acrylic paint in a glue  bottle.
I really love this page and it's meanings, so apt for today.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Art Journal Junkie October 2022 - Day 5

Day 5 of 31 days of Art Journaling with Art Journal Junkie Facebook Group!

So we have 3 colours: Mint, Grey and Green
An Affirmation Quote: I love who I am becoming
An element: Keys

Today I got my Neo II Crayons out and had a play.

I also used my Visible Image Creative Chaos stamp set with Distress Oxide inks.
Some White and Green acrylic paints with a couple of stencils from my stash - I think they both might be Dylusions ones - the green one is.
I went over the flowers with my Black Life of Colour paint pen to bring it out of the background.

I love who I am becoming with my art journals - a journey I am enjoying.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Art Journal Junkie October 2022 - Day 2

Day 2 of 31 days of Art Journaling with Art Journal Junkie Facebook Group!

So we have 3 colours: Orange, Pink and Yellow.
An Affirmation Quote: Ny Creativity is Endless
An element: Circles

I used Art by Marlene acrylic paints along with black and white.
Lol, must say it was a bit of a hot mess, but I kept on going!
I used a Finnabair stencil I have, only one I own which was a retreat prize, with black to try draw the eye away from the brightness! Then one of my circle stencils that I have no idea who's it is but I love it, with white to again tone it down.
I used one of my Art by Marlene stamp sets (circles) on a book page and then fussy cut. I also used a page from one of my Daphne's Dairy magazines and punch some larger circles out.
Once I had adhered these on my page, I used my Life of Colour Paint pens to pen my Affirmation and also add colour to the circles.

Can't say I am totally happy with it, but I can say I learnt a few things and can only get better by doing.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Art Journal Junkie October 2022 - Day 1

31 days of Art Journaling with Art Journal Junkie Facebook Group!
Wish me luck as we all know I never get these done and finished on time - cough cough, if ever.
I still have 10 days of July's 31 days. So lets see if I can do better!

So we have 3 colours: Turquoise, Gold and Green.
An Affirmation Quote: Trust the Process.
An element: Trees

I used my 3 colours along with black to try to create a mystic forest.
My tree/leaves are using a Bee Arty stencil.
My Alice peeking through the door is by Vectoria Designs and my Curiouser Alice is from a small Paper Bag from Dasio.
I used my Life of Colour Black Paint pen to pen my Affirmation.

Apart from my handwriting, I love how this page came to life!

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!
