Dapper Gentlemen

Are you ready for a new month's Challenge over at Arty Divas Challenge Blog.

This month's theme as always is "Anything Goes", doesn't get any easier than that does it!

This month we are playing with Dapper Gentlemen Set 1 and Coffee Paper Set 1 by our resident sponsor Lilli Rain Designs.

I decided to make a 2 Pocket Holder for my Journal.
I used 2 of the Dapper Men and added a cardstock backing to make them sturdy. They are blank on the back so journaling can be added.
My Holder I used one of the coffee papers and printed out A4 size and then trimmed to 10 x 6 1/2 inches. I then set about folding, cutting and assembling.
I added two of the Coffee Chip chipboard by CAS-ual Friday Stamps after I used my Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain distress inks on them.

I am very happy with the end result.

Now you have seen what I have done, it's your turn! I look forward to seeing your entry in our Challenges.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Junk Journal July 2022

Junk Journal July 2022, 16 - Passion, Ruby, Chipboard.
#cwjjj16

I mixed a Red and a Violet Purple to get my Ruby Red paint.
I then painted my half doily in my Junk Journal, because that's the next page, and added a girl from Tammy's Bonkers Pack.
My two chipboard hearts are from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and I painted them with the same mixture.
My saying is from Michelle Grant's Purpose Pack.
My passion is clearly my craft as that page was very fiddly, and you can see I broke part of the doily in the creation.

So, I then did the next prompt and we are in the middle of my signature, so I got to play with the whole doily!

Junk Journal July 2022, 17 - Let it go Or Embrace, Turquoise, Tissue paper/Deli paper.
#cwjjj17

This time my napkin had the tourquoise strip that matched my Neo II crayon perfectly so I was able to colour my doily and blend in to my napkin reasonably well.
My image is from Michelle Grant's Crowned pack.
I decided to write my saying and mix the lettering.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

#jjec 78 Coffee/ Journaling Card

This weeks prompt is Coffee / Journaling Card.

I used an image from TLCreates Vintage for my coffee - so true!
My journal page is a leftover page trimmed down from a Vectoria Designs project, and the saying is from a magazine.
I used the Curtis stencil by CAS-ual Fridays Stamps with Walnut Stain Distress ink for my background.
Turned out great.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Wanderlust 2021 Week 16

I loved this week's class at Wanderlust 2021 by Dyan Reaveley.

I went with my 3 main colour combo I decided to use this year for Wanderlust, with the addition of Black. It makes it easier when you don't have to decide on colours to use.....lucky my are a warm combo.

I got to use my new Buddha 1 A4 stencil from ColourBlast that was designed by Michelle Grant.
Also used the Distorted Chess stencil by Visible Image and one from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps that I can't recall the name of. Another 2 stencils from my stash as well.

White and black gel pen for outlining and writing.

I found 2 great snarky quotes to use - the one in black you can read pretty well,
"Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak!"
The one in white says:
"I am practicing mindfulness, compassion and kindness, so don't piss me off!"
Loved them both.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Creations in Pink # 30

Time for our first Challenge of 2021 at Creations in Pink....remember it's anything goes, but has to be mainly Pink.

This month our Sponsor is The Paper Shelter.

I created with the Warm in the Winter set.

I coloured with copic markers and used my white gel pen for some highlights.
I then fussy cut the image out, as well as part of the background print in the file.
I die cut my Coffee Slider Card with my Jaded Blossom die (LOL, yes I use this die alot!) in pink card stock and assembled.
I adhered my image onto the cup sleeve and added a couple of sentiments from cut-aparts by Uniquely Creative in my stash.
Lastly I used my copic markers to colour up the heart mdf from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and added sparkle by using my clear Wink of Stella before I adhered onto my image background.

I know this year has not started too well for myself, but I truly hope that we all can find some time to relax and either craft, listen to music or just sit and read a good book to get our minds off this crazy world we are living in at the moment.  If you do get to craft, please join in with us.

I am entering the following Challenges:

Coffee, because Adulting is hard!

It's no secret that I love all things coffee right!
So when I was introduced to the Coffee Loving Papercrafters group and saw the 2020 Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop over at Coffee Loving Cardmakers, well, I just had to didn't I!

I got out some goodies from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and set about creating my card.

I used a card base that my crafty bestie gave me and repurposed the packaging from a Coffee Shaped Stress Ball. (Yep, "Friends" Central Perks one!)......anyways, I put down a layer of Vintage Photo Distress Ink and then using the Starlequin Stencil, I wiped over with a baby wipe to clear away some ink and give the distress look at the same time.
My sentiments are from the Coffee Talk stamp set, and chipboard pieces are from Coffee Chips.

I think it turned out pretty well.
Can't wait to see all the Coffee inspiration over on the hop - hope you'll find time to join in!

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!
