Stick a mask on it Karen......

I'm super excited to let you all know that I am now a  Ephemoire Inspiration Partner!!!!

I look forward to creating and sharing projects using the great digital files from the Etsy shop with you each month - so stay watching and follow me so you don't miss out on a posting!

You can check out the Facebook Page here too for all the latest information on listings.

I did make these two index cards as an introduction as I just couldn't wait to share the news!

So this is NO's 81 and 82 of my ICAD - The index card is paper from the Prima Time Traveler's Memories Paper Pack.

The sentiment's came to my mind when looking at these images, so I typed them up and printed off.
I sponged around the edges of them and the images using Vintage Photo Distress Ink to give it a grungy look.

Hope you like them and they inspire you to get creative.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

ICAD No.80

I got around to doing another Index Card - I truly can't believe I have got to making 80 of these!
They are fun to make, especially with snarky quotes!

So this guy is called Fish10 and is by Twistoon. Lisa has a lot of quirky style images and they are fun to create with.
I added highlights with my white gel pen.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Thanks a Bunch

Having a play around with my stash, as you do....I came up with this lovely card.

The image I stamped is from Unity Stamps and called Bouquet Bunch of Thanks.
It comes with that sentiment stamp as well.

I coloured with pencils and then fussy cut around the image.
I cut two tags from one of my tag die sets. On in plain card stock, the other from a page in the Pretty Pegs Paper Stack I have.
The sentiment is from the same stamp set and I used a long retired Stampin Up punch to punch it out and adhere to the tags.
The bow is a die from one of my sets from La-la Lands Craft and I used the same page of paper as the tag.
Lastly I added a few glitter dots for a bit of sparkle.

Hello Coffee Girlz

I thought I'd share a card I made using Coffee Girlz by Bugaboo Stamps.
I went with a very simple card this time.

I coloured her with pencils and fussy cut out.
Using one of my many tag dies, I cut out a tag from a paper out of a Pretty Pegs Paper Stack.
Adhered this onto my card base and then my coffee girlz off to the side a bit.
I then adhered my wood chip sentiment after colouring with copics.

Respect ...

I just had to share the new dividers I made for my Happy Planners!

I used two of the girls from Karamfila's Respect Clip Art  and the background is a paper from Alo-ho-ho-ho paper pack - yes, not just for Christmas!

This first one says " I SWEAR We are fighting two pandemics: Coronavirus and Stupidity!

This second one says "When this quarantine is over, let's not tell some people...

Don't they just make you smile!
I have them both in my mini hp as it's easy to photograph, but will use one in my Classic hp as well.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Alo-ho-ho-ho

Gosh, as soon as I saw the new release from Karamfila I just had to buy the set.

My first play is using the clip art set to create some Christmas cards.

Oh my, how stinkin cute are they!
They are just right for us Aussies where the beach is just right for Christmas lunch!
And my Christmas tree is a Palm Tree so I felt like this was made just for me - yes I know it wasn't!

So after I played with the clip art and had everything where I wanted and sized right, I printed off on plain white card stock.
Then using my Jaded Blossom Rectangle Stitched dies and Candy Wrap dies, I just had to adhere onto my card bases.

I also have 2 lots of papers to play with as well so will fit that in some where and share what I come up with.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

ICAD No.79

So I got another index card done this weekend, no.79!
Could end up being a weekend thing, maybe......

So going with the copic markers again, and I do think I am getting back into the swing of them.....as many refills as I have, I do need more!

So this is an older image from Twistoon called Zen - it was from when the shop was called Bloobel, so you might have her in your collection as well.

Feel free to let me know your favourite Snarky Quotes and I'll be sure to do up an index card with them and tag you.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

ICAD No.78

My next index card I coloured up Social Distance Anya by The Greeting Farm using my copic markers.

Getting the hang of the copics again - slowly.......need some more refills when I can afford them.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Be the Good

Here's another card I made using elements from the Wise & Free paper pack by Uniquely Creative.

I wanted a more Shabby Chic look with this one and am very happy with the results.

I distressed the edges of my papers and fussy cut the flower basket from one another one of the papers.
The lace piece is from my stash.

Hello Lovely Girl

I was gifted last years Uniquely Creative 2019 Advent box by my Crafty Bestie and decided I probably should get around to making some things from it......

So I fussy cut one of the papers in the pack - awesome designs, sentiments, flags, tags etc.
Yes, I am one of those odd people that enjoy fussy cutting!
I love this owl design, so used one of the doilies we got, along with this fussy cut image.
The sentiment is from the same sheet of paper.
The card stock for my card base was also in the Advent box so I just cut it down to get two 5 1/4" square cards from it..

So quick and easy to create gorgeous cards!

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Flamingo

I have had this Flamingo image by Sybile Art printed off and waiting to colour up for months now....today is it's lucky day.

Isn't she just adorable! Now they would put a smile on anyone's face.

Coloured with distress inks.

Background paper is from My Mind's Eye - Lost& Found, Maddison Avenue 6" paper pad.
Sponged around edges with Stampin Up Crumb Cake ink.
Washi tape to ground is from my stash.
Sentiment from Uniquely Creative's Wise & Free Cut-A-Part.

Panda with Cup

Decided I had better make a Father's Day card while I wasn't rushed or it will be here before I know it!

This card is perfect for my dad as he likes them plain and simple, plus it doesn't cost much to post up to him.

My image is Panda with Cup by Little Blue Button Stamps, coloured with Distress Inks - lol, what there was to colour. I added some clear Wink of Stellar brush over the glasses rim to give some sparkle....
I used the largest of the Star dies from my Stampin Up set to cut out two stars from Kaisercraft Technologic 6 1/2" Paper pad
The sentiment is from a Uniquely Creative Cut-a-part sheet that I got in a Mystery box from them.

ICAD No.77

My next Index Card - I used one of the images from a Freebie colouring page sheet by Karamfila.

Coloured with Distress Inks.
Another fun snarky quote to add to my collection!

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Go and make some art ...

Go and make some art ..... doesn't that sound great!

I used my Distress Inks and coloured up Krista Smith's Painter image.

My sentiment is another from another Cut-a-part by Uniquely Creative - sorry I can't recall which kit I got it from but pretty sure it was one of the Mixed Media kits I subscribe to.

Same with the dies I used, I don't have the packaging so not sure, but those paint splatters are just great.
I did go through a stage where I put my dies onto magnetic sheets in those stamp cover things which is why most are just in covers marked "square", "circle", etc....

ICAD No.76

My next Index card No.76.

Gabbie Writing image by Faery Inks and coloured with Distress Inks.

I love using my coloured images on these index cards with a snarky quote....some are a bit more snarky then others of course. It's nice to have a balance.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

ICAD No.75

An image from The East Wind and coloured with copics.

Smile

Smile.....I am using an image from Faery Ink called Nurse Honey.

I have coloured her using my Distress Inks.
The square die cuts are using the Square Frames Die from Uniquely Creative.
My sentiment is from the Wild & Free Cut-a-parts sheet by Uniquely Creative.
The patterned paper is from a magazine in my stash and die cut using the Stampin Up Square die set.

I am entering in the following Challenges:

Wash your hands ......

Wash your hands - it's become second nature now during these trying times.

I haven't used my copic markers in, well, months.....so decided to see how rusty I was....I think I did ok.

I used a Krista Smith image called Edgy Princess Ver2.
Coloured with copic's as mentioned above and white Gelly Roll Pen.
My saying is from Uniquely Creative's Lockdown 2020 Cut-a-parts sheet - a great Australian company!
Tag dies, I can't recall who's brand they are as I have had them for a few years and don't have the packaging anymore.

ICAD No.74

Here's another Index Card using a planner die cut from my stash.

I'm not just using snarky quotes, any quotes I like I will use as it's nice to flick through them for inspiration.

Image may contain: ‎text that says "‎I'm not beautiful like you. חת I'm m beautiful 6 angeda like me!‎"‎

ICAD No.73

So here is my next Index Card ... yes you will see the occasional swear word from time to time so I'm sorry if you are offended as that's not my intent.

Image may contain: text that says "well aren't we just 2 SCOOPS of grumpy in a bowl fall of bitahy this morning Fuck Off"

I thought the Panda die cut from my stash was just right for this Snarky Quote.
The die cut is from a set I bought from Karamfila, just love her artwork.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

ICAD No.72

Have you seen all the ICAD 2020 (Index Card A Day) posts the last few months?

If you follow my Instagram posts you would have seen mine - I played along for the first time this year.
They do give a prompt for 62 days but you don't have to follow them if they don't appeal.
Well, I decided I would use snarky quotes on mine - I mean how many times do you see a quote and then forget it.....until it comes up again.

So, on that note, I am continuing with mine and am up to No.72 with plenty of quotes to come.

I was lucky enough to get a Heidi Swapp Rolodex Die on sale a few days before this years event started and am glad I bought it.

I used the digital image called Vacation Mona from Lala-Land Crafts and coloured with distress inks.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Marci in Wonderland

Hello, and welcome to my blog.

I thought it might be nice to add a blog for my projects instead of just having them on my instagram account.

So for my first posting, I have coloured up Marci in Wonderland from La-la Land Crafts

I have her as a digital stamp as I got her with a class I bought. I looked on their site and at the time of this post she was only available as a rubber stamp.

Coloured using the six Distress Inks as shown.

I am not too sure yet what I will do with her, but I am sure I will be able to use her on a project somewhere done the track.

Not sure how this blog will end up but I hope it helps to grow the artist inside me trying to get out.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!
