2021 Cat Lovers Hop

Have you joined in the 2021 Cat Lovers Hop this year yet?.

Here is my 2nd project

I used an image and words from the 3' Note Cards and Envelope set by Ephemoire.

I fussy cut and adhered to my Planner - just perfect, and cute to boot!

LOL, I don't get too fancy in my planner as my shifts keep getting switched around on me so I am forever crossing out, etc.....maybe next year as I am working on changing roles where this won't happen as much...fingers crossed!

2021 Cat Lovers Hop

I decided to join in the 2021 Cat Lovers Hop this year, I mean who doesn't love a black cat right!

I couldn't decided on one image to use, so I made a set of 3 ATC's.

I used images from My Furry Friend collage sheet by Gecko Galz.

I used some of the stickers from Snarky Small Talk by Tim Holtz for my sentiments.

Gecko Galz Monthly Image Challenge

Another month has almost passed us by.....I finally got around to creating with this gorgeous image for the Gecko Galz Monthly Image Challenge.

How adorable is she! I just wasn't too sure what I wanted to do with her so took the easy way out and popped her in my coffee stained journal.

I used my Stay Weird stamp set by Visible Image for both the sentiment and the bubbles.

Never More Designs Gothic Challenge

This month's Challenge Image over at Never More Designs Gothic Image Challenge is such a cutie!

 

I did another page in my Coffee Stained journal, it's looking pretty good with all theses Challenge images in it.

I sponged the edges of the printed image with Black Soot distress ink.

Once I had adhered her down, I grabbed some foil Halloween stickers I have in my stash.

I used the sentiment one for Halloween as well as one of the bats.

Gecko Galz Christmas Challenge

For the Gecko Galz Christmas Challenge this month, I decided to make a tag.

I made a tag with some cardstock and patterned paper.

I adhered a strip of green velvet down one side and some ribbon and eyelash trim through the eyelet.

My sentiment is from one of the Uniquely Creative cut-a-parts.

And while I was at it, I made an altered paperclip for my planner using one of the images from the Very Vintage Christmas collage sheet. 

 

So much fun!

Winter WIshes

Winter Wishes and Season's Greetings!

Oh I really love this image from Gecko Galz - it's from the Very Vintage Christmas collage sheet.

I sponged the edges with some Stormy Sky distress ink as well as my vintage music paper.

I used a white square card base for this card - I think Christmas cards are better when they are square.

Anyways, I popped my music paper down first and then adhered my cream piece of lace and then my pale blue lace just overlapping.

Next I popped my image on top using foam dots to lift it off and sit over the lace better.

lastly I found my sentiment and postmark on a Graphics 45 paper scrap I have laying on my table top...as you do right!

One Year Older

This month we have an stunning Steampunk image to play with for the Gecko Galz Steampunk Monthly Challenge.

One day I will be able to do these images more justice!

After printing my image, I sponged the edges with Black Soot distress ink.

I cut a kraft matt for it and sponged the edges of it with Vintage Photo distress ink.

Using an embossing folder, I dry embossed the front of my card base.

Now when I placed my matt and image on top, I decided it needed something else.

So I ran a glue stick around the darker edge parts of the image and rubbed some gold flakes into it.

Much better I think you will agree.

So then I matted the image and adhered to the card base.

I found this saying on one of my scraps of paper from Graphic 45. 

Perfect for it and I love the grungy feel it has given it.

Frightful ATC

So here are the other 2 ATC's I made with the Creatures of the Night ATC kit with Gecko Galz this month.

I thought these two were a bit more frightful!

I used another 2 of the backgrounds and images from the supplied  ATC kit, again Jaded Blossom stamps for the sentiments.

I added some Halloween Mix sequins from my stash on the frightful one and a sticker on the Beware one.

I again used Glossy Accents to highlight the eyes on the bat and also the skull.

Creatures of the Night ATC Challenge

Oh what fun over at  Gecko Galz this month, they have the Creatures of the Night ATC Challenge!

Being a bit time poor at the moment, I am only doing the Challenge and not the swap.

How cool are they!

I used the backgrounds and images from the supplied  ATC kit but used my Jaded Blossom stamps for the sentiments.

I added some Halloween Mix sequins from my stash - isn't it funny that the clear ones come out looking green in the photo.

It's hard to tell, if not impossible, but I actually used Glossy Accents to highlight the owls eyes, the bones in the bat wings behind my Ghostly guy and also the bolts and attachments on Frankie's head.

I am really happy with how they turned out - I did make another two, but the Challenge is for a set of 3...another post for another day as they say....

#jjec 78 Coffee/ Journaling Card

This weeks prompt is Coffee / Journaling Card.

I used an image from TLCreates Vintage for my coffee - so true!

My journal page is a leftover page trimmed down from a Vectoria Designs project, and the saying is from a magazine.

I used the Curtis stencil by CAS-ual Fridays Stamps with Walnut Stain Distress ink for my background.

Turned out great.
