Double Pocket Envelope

Over at the Printables for your Junk Journaling with TLC facebook page, Paulette gave us a free Double Pocket Envelope to create for a fun Challenge.

So much fun putting my twist on it - I used some ephemera from the TLCreates November Club Kit I purchased.

This is perfect for any Christmas themed Junk Journal.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

I have posted off my swap and here is the other set of 3 I created for the Challenge.

How cute are the Gnomes!

I will show you my other set once my partner in the States gets them....hopefully they won't take too long to get there.

Gecko Galz Monthly Image Challenge

Can you believe it's almost Christmas time!

This month's image for the Gecko Galz Monthly Image Challenge is a great one to be challenged with.....or maybe that's just me!

Another month of not knowing how to create with the image.....that's the great thing about this challenge of having an image to create with - it makes you think differently and use your brain instead of sticking with what you know and going along.

Anyway, I have this new journal for notes for my new position at work and thought it needed something on the cover, so our Regal Miss was just the ticket.!

The saying is from the Tim Holtz Big Talk Snarky stickers.
Lace is from my stash.
I popped my image on foam dots to lift her off the cover to be level with the lace.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Gecko Galz Christmas Challenge

For the Gecko Galz Christmas Challenge this month, I made a simple tag using our supplied image.

I resized and printed the image with enough white space on the left so when I trimmed the card stock down I just had to fold in half and my tag was done.
I then sponged the edges with Vintage Photo distress ink for an aged look, and punched a hole and tied off some thread in it.

Quick and easy but very effective.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Never More Designs Gothic Challenge

This month's Challenge Image over at Never More Designs Gothic Image Challenge is such a unique one!

I wasn't too sure what to create with it, but after pondering for a while I made a decision.

I made a goodie bag for a bag of coal!
LOL, just perfect for that image.
I used my Jaded Blossom Goodie Bag die to create my bag.
Used my Vintage Photo distress ink around the image to give it an aged look and adhered onto my bag.

Such a fun goodie bag!

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Season's Greetings

I love this month's Steampunk image for the Gecko Galz Steampunk Monthly Challenge.

I made a card and a gift tag to match!

I printed off the image in a size to use as the matt for my card  as well as for a gift tag.
With the gift tag, I positioned it over the  page so I had enough white card on the left to fold and have a ready made tag!
The only thing I had to add to my card matt was to run a glue stick around the darker edge parts of the image and rub some gold flakes into it.
Then I adhered to the card base.
The gift tag just needed to be folded, a hole punched in top and some thread tied off in it.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!

Santa Down Under

I had to make a Christmas card to send overseas so I grabbed my Uniquely Creative Aussie Christmas stamp set, matching die set and Twinkly Stars stencil.

These are from their Stamp & Colour Mini Kit in November 2019.....goodness, I was thinking it was last year!

I used the card by DT Ashleigh Freeston in the project booklet as inspiration.

Distress Oxide inks and modeling paste and I was ready to create!
I used the stencil and paste first on my cream matt.
Once dry, I blended some distress oxide inks aver the matt.
I stamped the emu form the stamp set, used the matching dies to die cut and colour with copics.
The sentiment is from the Cut-apart mini sheet.

Until next time, keep chasing white unicorns!
