Welcome to 2025 - Me

Can you believe it's the first day of another New Year!

I for one am glad to see the last of 2024, and hoping for a renewing 2025.

My word for 2025 is ME. I am going to put myself first, I deserve it and my health and well being need me to be more focused on me instead of work and others.

My action will be NO - I am going to say NO more often and I do not need to explain myself for doing so.

Wish me luck, and I hope you can find some meaningful words and actions to help control your life as you wish it to be.

I hope this new year see's you full of positive vibes and many chances to craft and create just for you.

Conjurer of Dreams Inspiration # 4

My inspiration projects for Conjurer of Dreams this month is using Grumpy Santa on Vacay for my first Junk Journal page and card, and then Creepy Dolls for my second Junk Journal Page.

 

I added my own embellishments and sentiments from my stash, a mix of 3 Quarter Designs, Tim Holtz and cheap shop. Also used Shimmer Sprays and some black lace and ribbon from my stash as well.

Conjurer of Dreams Inspiration # 3

My inspiration projects for Conjurer of Dreams this month is using Festive Steampunk Polar Bear on the first one, and Winter Christmas Hamster with Winter Pines AI Art background on second one.

This first one, I used some dies that were given to me as gifts, in white cardstock, as well as black cardstock to put behind my image. I then used my Pheonix Watercolour pallet to blend the image into the page as well as some flicks for interest. My sentiment is from an old Kindred Stamps stamp set. 

I used a die from Bee Arty in White Cardstock and placed behind my image. My sentiment is from an old Kindred Stamps stamp set and I added some splats from my white paint pen. Lastly I added some clear domes to enhance it a bit.

Gecko Galz ATC Challenge

It's been a while since I joined in the ATC Challenge over at Gecko Galz and with this month's page being Alice in Wonderland inspired, I just could not let it go by without creating.

It's a fab set of three!

I used only the PDF backgrounds and images from the sheet supplied by Kim (go grab it here) with my words being from Michelle Grant Designs - Mini Words by Karen Yates.

I also sponged around the edges with Black Soot distress ink.

You don't need to add a tonne of stuff to have a great looking ATC.

My inspiration projects for is this month are two more Junk Journal pages.

Firstly I have used a Witch Potion Amoire, with a Witch Book Stack and wording from Witch Wisdom.

Some black acrylic paint with Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink and then some watered down black acrylic paint for splats. A strip of black lace on the side for some interest.

Second project I absolutely adore!

I stuck with painting the background with black acrylic paint, then I used a script stencil with gold acrylic paint. I coloured my muslin with Navy Shimmer mica powder and positioned on my page where my image was going. My image is the first girl in Cursed Witch Art set. I sponged Black Soot Distress Ink around my image to give a more spooky feel. Saying is from my stash.

Black Angel Wings

Here's my day 7 Challenge entry for Conjurer of Dreams Facebook page 1st Anniversary celebrations: Sept 21st Ghost of a Time - make a card or tag (Daily Prize Set of 4 Halloween images)

 

I have used my new Tag Die set to create this tag. I printed off the Black Angel Wings imagine and then printed on to vellum with one of the free with purchase files I got early this month. I love the effect the printed vellum gives over the normal print. 

Definitely spooky!
